If you're thinking about upgrading your analog system to IP, there are a variety of factors to think about. While the price gap between the two is getting smaller, there are advantages and disadvantages to both and what you choose ultimately depends on your organization's specific needs.
Before getting the answer, you should have the idea about these two system
In the traditional analog CCTV application, security cameras capture an analog video signal and transfer that signal over coax cable to the Digital Video Recorder (DVR). Each camera may be powered by power supplies. The DVR converts the analog signal to digital, compresses it, and then stores it on a hard drive for later retrieval.
In some applications, the video balun or transceiver would be used between DVR and analog cameras to extend the transmission distance or supply power direct to cameras in the places where it is hard to lay out the electric circuit, see topology below:
UTEPO Analog HD Video Power Transmission
HDCVI, HDTVI, AHD, Analog Video 4 in 1
75MHz bandwidth, 720P, 1080P transmission
Longer distance, up to 500m
8KV ESD, 2KV surge immunity
Steady DC 12V output
In the IP world, each network camera captures an analog image but immediately converts it to digital inside the camera. Some digital processing can happen right at the camera, such as compression and motion detection. The digital video stream is then broadcast over the local area network (LAN) using Ethernet (CAT5 or CAT6) cable. Power is supplied to the cameras through the ethernet cable via PoE switch.

1. Replace your devices as you can according to the budget
2. Find an installer and/or vendor who specializes in IP system
3. Make sure the result you really want, then make the selection for models
4. Revisit your security plan to see where you’re going to need to replace cameras
5. Build your system for future growth potential
6. Light is one of the most important things to consider in designing a surveillance system, and people overlook it all the time
7. Take on-site field trip
8. Have a clear, written solution about the operational costs (Maintenance etc)
