Shenzhen, China / June 23, 2020 The expert evaluation session, on Group Standards of Technical Specifications for Intelligent Body Temperature Screening Projects in Schools and Kindergartens, was held in Shenzhen Air International Hotel, Shenzhen, China by the Shenzhen Security Industry Association. More than 20 experts from Guangdong Provincial Expert Committee on Safety Technology Prevention, Security Industry, Shenzhen Health Committee, Shenzhen primary and secondary schools, etc participated in this session.

As the main drafting unit of the standards, Mr. Tide Nie, CTO of UTEPO, was invited to attend the session as the member of the expert group.

As the prevention and control of the COVID-19 entered the normalization, the demand for intelligent and efficient temperature screening in schools and kindergartens has become increasingly high. To help education industry to establish a set of standardized processes and methods for the new or renovated temperature screening system projects, and standardize the engineering of the design, construction, testing and acceptance of the process, after 2-month revision and 7-time discussion, the final draft of the group standards was settled.

During the session, Wang Da, the Vice President of Shenzhen Security Industry Association and Deputy Director of the Committee of Experts, took a background introduction on group standards and made a summary of its drafting.

The publish of the group standards is of great significance, as it not only fills the gap in the standards for intelligent epidemic prevention and control systems on campus, but also will further promote the construction of intelligent epidemic prevention and control systems on campus.

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19, UTEPO keeps going on the way to help scientific, accurate, and effective prevention and control of the epidemic by participating in the preparation of standards and the development and production of intelligent temperature measurement products.
