BACKGROUND

Pattaya Bay is one of Asia's largest beach resorts well-known as "Eastern Hawaii“. It is also the second most visited place in Thailand. All beaches along Pattaya Bay, with brightly shining, clear blue water and white sand, attracted thousands of people yearly.

Therefore, in such outdoors with massive human traffic and hot season, it is low timeliness, inefficient, and high cost to use conventional manual patrol management. A real-time reliable smart surveillance and alarm system is essential for the beach.


REQUIREMENT

Industrial & rugged design for harsh environment

The equipment is deployed in a closed box on the beach, which requires reliable operation under high & low temperatures and high performance on dust & sand protection.


Keep the 24-hour stable operation

For the security of the beaches, the product could keep 24-hour stable operation with seamless transmission for big data, such as HD video, etc., especially for the main prevention areas.


Cost-effective

The product should support rich management features with lower management costs.


UTEPO SOLUTION


● It adopted UTEPO 8-ports full gigabit industrial PoE++ switches, UTP7310S-PSD, in the access layer to form a fiber ring network, of which the self-healing time is within 20ms, providing reliable network support for the whole system.


● It adopted UTEPO L3 managed Fiber switches UTP7624GS-L3 to aggregate the data to the upper layer.


● In the command center, it adopted the UTEPO L3 managed switches, UTP5628S-L3, to handle the large amounts of data collected from the front end.
